The most important thing for your ag business to know is your target audience (customer). Once you know who your audience is, the next thing to do is find out about their habits. This tells you how to reach them and direct them to your site. Once they are on your site, then it’s your job to tell them how you can help them. This website infographic is a good place to start if you are just beginning to look into where to find your audience online.
Besides all this, I’m a sucker for a good infographic.
It’s a very common question. I was explaining the difference between wordpress.or and wordpress.com this week to my fifteen year old. And yesterday someone tweeted the link to Sarah Gooding’s article on wpmu.org with the Definitive Guide on WordPress.org vs WordPress.com. I posted a infographic earlier this week about discovering blog post ideas. Here is another infographic for good measure.
This time would you tweet this to your friends. I’m sure they would appreciate it.
The blank screen with the blinking cursor can be intimidating at times. We need a little prodding to jumpstart a blog post. This infographic can give you a bunch of directions to get started. All the suggestions listed might not apply to you but most of them can definitely trigger more ideas if you give it some thought. #6 and 7 can be very quick posts since they are about your opinion and would require very little to no research.
Go ahead and pin this post. That way you can easily come back to the list in the future when you need a little inspiration again.
Just put this blog post checklist together this weekend. I love making these kind of graphics. Will have to think up some more in the future.
I had been wanting to make a checklist for myself for awhile. I would think my post was ready to publish. So up it would go. Then when I would go to view the post and admire my most recent creation. Crap! I forgot_____.
Then I figured that others also would like to have a check list for writing blog posts. I don’t always do everything on the list. It’s just what I shoot for.
You can download the file (link below) to keep on your computer or print it out if you like. Tell me what you think of my infographic.
We are taking this site in a different direction. I have other websites that I am working on.
Together we will discover
1. how to reach an audience
2. make strong connections
3. get your message out
